Biography Time

Our February meeting was a success.  The children discussed the biographies they had chosen.  This was a wonderful way for everyone to learn about the people that interest their friends.

Aping Around

Another great zoo day! With the cooler February weather, all the animals were very active. The siamang apes were as interested in us as we were with them! The kids enjoyed watching the baby ape swing around the habitat, but couldn’t figure out why he was so determined to reach the leaves outside the fence when there were plenty inside.

Scavenger Hunt at Mann Museum

We had a wonderful morning walking through the Mann Museum, following clues to find opossums, raccoons, wasp’s nests and more. Everyone enjoyed learning interesting facts about some Alabama animals. The kids all left asking when we could do it again.
